2011/How to Sign-Up

Thank you for your interest in being a Volunteer for Open Source Bridge!

Volunteering can be a fun and exciting way to participate in the conference, working closely with others in a co-creative environment. We have many positions available.

In order to show our appreciation for volunteers, those who put in eight or more hours of time, can receive a free pass. Those volunteers contributing fewer than eight hours, or that wish to financially contribute, will still need to purchase a paid ticket.

To sign-up to volunteer on-site at the conference, follow these steps:

  1. Read the Volunteer Positions and decide how you would like to help.
  2. View the Volunteer Shift Schedule, follow the instructions therein and decide what shifts you want to work. Keep in mind this list is from 2011. Some changes and added positions will be posted in the future.
  3. Complete the Volunteer Registration Form. This helps us contact you in case of changes.
  4. Attend one of the two on-site Volunteer Orientations on Monday, June 20th at 12pm and 4pm. (If you aren't able to make it to an orientation, just let us know. We'll train you a few minutes before your shift.)

Volunteering is the essence of Open Source Bridge and we are excited to work with you!

If you have any questions, contact Shepherd Griffin, our Volunteer Coordinator at volunteer@opensourcebridge.org.
