LiveReload is great and they have added their code on Github for all to see but, it is still a service that is going to cost you something if you want to use it. Description

LiveReload is great and they have added their code on Github for all to see but, it is still a service that is going to cost you something if you want to use it.

Often you will not need all the bells and whistles and just need something simple. I am going to show you how to create a simple file watcher with Nodejs and reload not just one, but all your different vendor browser instances using Socket.io

Whether your changes are to HTML, CSS or JavaScript, one, or multiple files, it will all work. While the idea is to keep it simple, let’s see how much support we can build in for frameworks such as LESS and perhaps even a little CoffeeScript.

Speaking experience

Spoke twice at the South African free software day and was invited back multiple times to speak at Vodacom about HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery and best practices on the web.
