This session will introduce you to the Ruby programming language by comparing it to PHP, and show some creative ways to start integrating Ruby with your non-Ruby projects.

Description

Ruby is a fun, flexible, expressive language with a huge collection of open-source libraries. Yet, migrating your entire codebase to Ruby is not always practical. As a former PHP developer, I found creative ways to use Ruby to make my life easier and get work done faster. This session will introduce you to the Ruby programming language by comparing it to PHP, and show some creative ways to start integrating Ruby with your non-Ruby projects.
