From the mailing list:
Having a convention center space committed to “posters” ala ISEF (science
fair), someone under 20 next to each one, is a good mental image (like this
kid at Winterhaven had his laptop partitioned into 5 OSes, including a DOS,
had slaved NT's Putty through his classroom's subnet to his Thinkpad's
telnet host – 8 years old, Simon).

Possible OLPC topics:
- The OLPC as a musical instrument (did you know it has CSound built into it?)
- Can we get some of the “stories” from OLPC kids around the world? I'll check the web sites.
- Who here has OLPCs and how many? I have two, Audrey? Kirby? If we're going to do something with XOs, let me know and I'll post something to the Google group
- Kirby replies: I suggesting incorporating the XO as a show & tell item in some unspecified talk or talks on the Python edu-sig list today (see last paragraph and footnote 3). http://mail.python.org/pipermail/edu-sig/2009-January/009017.html
