Procrastinators rejoice! We’re extending the deadline for our Call for Proposals until 11:59 PDT on Thursday, March 31st.
Not sure if you want to speak at Open Source Bridge? Of course you do! We’d love to have you and your ideas be a part of this year’s event, and we have some hints and inspiration for you:
- Read about the fun plans we have for this year’s Hacker Lounge and think about how to integrate your talk with this hands-on, collaborative experience.
- Want some tips on how to write great proposals? We have them here.
- Don’t forget to read our Call for Proposals for all the details on tracks and session formats.
- Oh, and did we mention speakers get in to the conference for free and attend an awesome speaker party?
In other Open Source Bridge news, something we know many of you have been waiting for, we’ve completed and posted our Code of Conduct. Helping all attendees have a safe and fun time at the conference has always been important to us, so we’ve written something to outline our expectations. It also includes information on our plan to recognize exemplary open source citizens for their participation at the event.
For those who are local to Portland, we’re having a last-minute proposal sprint at the Lucky Lab in Southeast on March 31st (calagator link). Come enjoy a beverage and have some company while you work on finalizing your proposal. Members of the OSBridge team will be on hand to answer your questions.
Are you a user group leader? Contact us to find out about user group discounts and how your group can participate in a raffle for a free ticket to the conference.
