Hacker Lounge Coordinator Duties

  • Hang out and be social.
  • Let people know you are there to answer questions.
  • Greet people. Help them find the group they are looking to meet up with.
  • Encourage groups to advertise what project they're with (we have card stock with which people can make signs).
  • There may be more than one coordinator on duty at a time. Introduce yourself to each other.
  • Check in with the next coordinators as your shift is ending and let them know how things are going.
  • Help keep the wiki updated.
  • Get in touch with a core volunteer if any issues arise.
  • Multiple volunteers needed in 2- and 4-hour shifts.
  • Help ensure than any outside food and drink containers are removed before 7am.
